Two Men Injured in Violent Pepper Spray Robberies Across Frankfurt
Two violent robberies took place in Frankfurt over the weekend, leaving two men injured. The first attack happened in the Bahnhofsviertel district on Saturday, while the second occurred in the Old Town early Sunday. Police are investigating both incidents but have yet to make any arrests.
On Saturday, a 30-year-old man was assaulted by three attackers aged between 18 and 25 in Bahnhofsviertel. The group used pepper spray before stealing his wallet and cash. The victim required medical attention but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Just hours later, a 37-year-old man was targeted in the Old Town. His assailants also deployed pepper spray, taking his wallet and mobile phone. The victim was treated at the scene for irritation caused by the spray. Authorities have not released specific details about the perpetrators beyond reports describing groups of young men. No arrests have been made, and investigations remain ongoing as of December 27, 2025.
Both victims were left shaken but did not sustain serious injuries. Police continue to gather evidence and have urged witnesses to come forward. The incidents follow a pattern of street robberies in central Frankfurt in recent weeks.
