Two men have been arrested in Groß-Gerau after attempting to steal a safe from an office building. Police caught them in the act as they tried to load the heavy item into their car. The suspects

The incident took place on Tuesday evening in Stadtbredimus. The safe had been built into a piece of furniture, making it difficult to remove. Officers arrived just as the men were preparing to transport it.

During follow-up searches at the suspects’ homes, police uncovered more than 20 grams of cocaine. They also found multiple Ecstasy pills. Both men were later released from custody but remain under investigation. The pair now face charges of aggravated theft. Authorities continue to examine the evidence collected from their properties.

The stolen safe was recovered before the suspects could leave the scene. Police have confirmed the men will appear in court over the theft and drug possession. Further details on the case are expected as the investigation progresses.
