Two Garden Sheds in Frankfurt's Riedgraben Area Set Ablaze, No Injuries Reported
Two adjacent garden sheds in Frankfurt's Riedgraben area were set ablaze on Wednesday afternoon, causing significant property damage but no injuries. The Frankfurt Criminal Police are investigating the incident, which saw the sheds, around 5-6 meters apart, catch fire nearly simultaneously. It's not yet ruled out that the fires occurred independently.
The fires were reported around 4:45 PM and were successfully extinguished by the fire department. The estimated property damage is in the lower five-figure range. Witnesses with information are urged to contact the Criminal Police at 069 / 755 - 51599 or any other local police station to aid the investigation.
The Frankfurt Criminal Police, led by President Stefan Müller, are currently looking into the matter. While no specific spokesperson from the press office has been named, they are working diligently to gather information and determine the cause of the fires.
