Two Car Thefts in Groß-Karben and Bad Nauheim: Jeep and Jaguar Targeted
Police in Groß-Karben and Bad Nauheim are investigating two car thefts that occurred on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. A black Jeep Grand Cherokee and a gray Jaguar were targeted, with valuable items stolen from the latter.
In the early hours of Wednesday, between midnight and 15:30, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with the license plate FB-DN 9991 was stolen in Groß-Karben. A witness spotted a person fleeing the scene. Meanwhile, in Bad Nauheim, a gray Jaguar parked in Wettertalstraße was targeted around 06:00. A handbag, makeup bag, and baby items were taken from the unsecured vehicle.
Police advise drivers to always ensure their cars are locked and avoid leaving valuable items inside. The Criminal Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen the thefts or noticed the Jeep after Wednesday night, particularly anyone who saw a vehicle with the license plate FB-DN 9991.
The stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jaguar, along with the valuable items taken from the Jaguar, remain at large. Police urge anyone with information to come forward. To prevent similar incidents, drivers are reminded to take precautions when leaving their vehicles.
