Two boys injured after elderly driver hits them at Offenbach crosswalk

A traffic accident involving two young boys took place on Thursday afternoon in Offenbach. The incident occurred near the 40s block of Berliner Straße at around 2 p.m. An 83-year-old driver collided with the children while they were crossing the road. The two boys, aged 10 and 12, suffered minor injuries in the collision. They were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. The driver of the Mercedes, an 83-year-old man, remained unharmed. Early reports indicate the children were crossing at a pedestrian traffic light when the accident happened. Investigators believe they may have entered the road while the signal was red. The boys received treatment for their injuries after the incident.
