Turkish man deported from Germany after five months evading authorities

Federal police at Frankfurt Airport detained a 28-year-old Turkish man on January 23, 2025. The man had been living in Germany without legal status since August 21 of the previous year. Authorities deported him the same day he was caught.

The man was first ordered for deportation in December 2025. At the time, he managed to avoid authorities and remained in the country illegally. His stay without permission lasted nearly five months.

Police arrested him at Frankfurt Airport during a routine check. Instead of waiting for a second scheduled deportation, officials removed him from Germany immediately.

The deportation took place on the same day as his arrest. This followed his earlier evasion of authorities in December. No further public details about the case have been released.
