Tripura Gramin Bank Wins SKOCH Award 2025 for Rural Financial Innovation

Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) has won the SKOCH Award 2025 for Innovative Practices. The honour was presented at the 105th SKOCH Summit in New Delhi on January 10, 2026. The award recognises the bank’s efforts in financial inclusion and transparent service delivery.

The SKOCH Award highlights institutions that create real-world impact through innovation. The bank was praised for introducing modern, technology-backed solutions. These services align with national development goals while supporting Tripura’s socio-economic growth. Chairman Satyendra Singh and Marketing Manager Jeet Bhattacharya accepted the award on behalf of the institution.

Singh dedicated the honour to the entire TGB team. He emphasised that the achievement reflected their collective hard work and commitment. The bank also reaffirmed its pledge to expand accessible, people-friendly banking services across the state.

This recognition marks a significant milestone for TGB as a regional rural bank. It underscores the institution’s role in improving governance and development through innovation. The award further strengthens the bank’s focus on technology-driven solutions for financial inclusion.
