Tragic Pedestrian Death in Darmstadt: Driver Mistook Victim for Animal
A tragic incident occurred in Darmstadt on Wednesday morning, September 10, 2025. A 25-year-old man with no fixed address was found deceased on the Landstraรe. Police investigations suggest the death was caused by a traffic accident around 02:30 AM.
A 43-year-old driver, behind the wheel of a BMW, collided with the pedestrian. The driver initially mistook the victim for a wild animal and alerted the police. The pedestrian, later identified as a 25-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
