Tragic B277 Accident Claims Life of 69-Year-Old Woman
A tragic traffic accident on the B277 between Edingen and Katzenfurt on October 13, 2025, has claimed the life of a 69-year-old woman from the Lahn-Dill district. The Police Headquarters of Middle Hesse (Polizeipräsidium Mittelhessen) is currently investigating the incident, which has led to the full closure of the B277.
The accident involved a collision between the woman's VW and a Daimler truck. An expert has been commissioned to reconstruct the course of the accident to help determine the cause. The investigation is ongoing, with the police appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The B277 remains closed while the investigation continues. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes. The identity of the deceased woman has not been released, and her family have been offered support.
