TRADIUM GmbH, a Frankfurt-based, owner-managed company specializing in precious metals, has joined the European Chapter of the International Precious Metals Institute (EC-IPMI). This move highlights the growing significance of precious metals in new environmental technologies, as noted by Philipp Goetzl-Mamba, Senior Manager of Precious Metals at TRADIUM.

TRADIUM, established in 1999, supplies technology metals, rare earths, and precious metals to diverse industries such as automotive, aerospace, renewable energy, and healthcare. The company operates a bonded and duty-free warehouse for raw materials through its sister company, METLOCK GmbH. Margit Bunzel leads TRADIUM as the Senior Manager of Precious Metals.

TRADIUM's decision to join EC-IPMI was welcomed by Lynda Si-Ahmed, president of the interest group. EC-IPMI provides a platform for collaboration and information exchange among precious metals industry participants, environmental groups, government, and educational institutions. TRADIUM believes in the importance of such collaboration to address supply chain challenges and promote sustainable extraction of raw materials.
