Toxic arsenic minerals found dumped in Leonberg meadow spark police probe

A toxic mineral cluster has been discovered in a meadow near Hoffmannstraße in Leonberg. Authorities are now investigating how the hazardous material ended up there. The find has raised concerns about illegal waste disposal in the area.

The minerals, weighing around 10 kilograms, were confirmed to contain arsenic and sulfur. Tests by the Baden-WĂŒrttemberg State Criminal Police Office identified these dangerous substances. The origin of the minerals remains unknown, but investigators suspect illegal dumping.

Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters has taken charge of the case. So far, no details about potential suspects have been made public. The Böblingen District Office will now arrange for the safe removal and disposal of the toxic materials.
