Three women injured after Opel crashes into parked Audi in Wiesbaden
A serious collision occurred on Quellbornstraße in Wiesbaden-Frauenstein on the evening of January 16, 2026. An Opel driven by an elderly woman crashed into a parked Audi at around 8:30 p.m. Emergency crews swiftly arrived to assist the injured occupants.
The accident prompted a quick response from firefighters and paramedics. Two of the women managed to exit the Opel unaided, while the third required careful extraction using a rescue board. Initial reports had suggested someone was trapped, but this was not the case upon arrival.
All three injured women received treatment at the scene. Two sustained minor injuries, but the third was severely hurt. Due to all local emergency doctors being occupied elsewhere, the rescue helicopter Christoph 77 was called in to transport an emergency doctor to the location. The doctor then accompanied the critically injured woman during her transfer to hospital. The entire stretch of Quellbornstraße was temporarily closed to allow for rescue operations and accident investigations.
The three women were taken to nearby hospitals for further care. Two suffered only minor injuries, while the third remains in serious condition. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
