Three elderly women injured after Opel crashes into parked Audi on Quellbornstraße

A serious collision occurred on Quellbornstraße around 8:30 p.m. last night. An Opel carrying three elderly women struck a parked Audi, leaving one person severely injured. Emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene to assist the victims and secure the area. Firefighters and paramedics found three women inside the damaged Opel. Two managed to exit the vehicle independently, while the third required careful removal using a rescue board. All three were treated at the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals. With all local emergency doctors already deployed, the rescue helicopter Christoph 77 was called in to provide additional medical support. An emergency doctor accompanied the most severely injured woman during her transfer. The two others sustained only minor injuries. Fire crews worked to stabilize the vehicles involved in the crash. Initial reports had suggested someone might be trapped, but this was later ruled out. Authorities temporarily closed Quellbornstraße to allow rescue operations and accident investigations to proceed without disruption. The road has since reopened, and the injured women remain under hospital care. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Police have not yet released further details about the incident.
