A serious three-car collision took place at the intersection of Kurt-Schumacher-Ring and Klarenthaler Straße in Wiesbaden on Monday evening. Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of trapped passengers and injuries. The crash left one driver with severe injuries, trapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters arrived quickly and used hydraulic rescue tools to free the person. Two others in a second car suffered minor injuries, while the driver of a third vehicle escaped unharmed.

The city's professional fire brigade, four ambulances, an emergency physician, and the medical incident command team all responded. Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals. Meanwhile, fluids leaking from one of the damaged cars were contained by firefighters. The entire intersection was closed during the rescue operation to allow emergency services full access. Authorities have not yet released further details about the cause of the collision.
