Thieves target a BMW M4 and Volkswagen Golf in overnight car break-ins

Two cars were broken into overnight in the towns of Tann and Niederbieber. Thieves targeted a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW M4, stealing perfume and a wallet. The incidents occurred within a short timeframe.

The first break-in happened on Steinweg in Tann. Between 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday and 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, unknown individuals forced open the passenger door of a black Volkswagen Golf. They searched the glove compartment and took a bottle of perfume.

In Niederbieber, another vehicle was targeted. A silver BMW M4, parked on Brunnengasse, was broken into by unknown perpetrators. The thieves went through the car's interior and stole a wallet.

Local police have not yet released detailed crime statistics for the area over the past year. Such data would typically come from the Polizeipräsidium or official crime records.

Both incidents remain under investigation. Authorities are likely reviewing any available evidence from the scenes. Residents in the area are advised to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity to the police.
