On Thursday night into Friday morning, thieves broke into a garage on Jasminweg in Staufenberg. They made off with speakers and tools, with the owner estimating the total loss to be around €30,000. The burglary occurred between 11:30 PM and 7:00 AM.

In a separate incident, thieves tampered with three parked semi-trailers at a truck stop along the A45 highway between Gießen-Lützellinden. The incident happened between 6:00 PM on Thursday and 5:05 AM on Friday. Although the seals on the trailers were broken, no cargo was stolen, according to initial assessments by the drivers.
