Thieves steal loose change from unlocked car in Friedrichsdorf's quiet neighborhood

Two unknown men stole loose change from a parked car in Friedrichsdorf's Seulberg area early on Wednesday. The theft took place at around 1:20 AM on February 4, 2026. Police are now investigating the incident and seeking witnesses.

The crime occurred in the quiet neighbourhood of Seulberg, where the suspects targeted an unlocked vehicle. Authorities from the Hochtaunus police directorate and Bad Homburg station handle such cases by examining break-in techniques, tracing stolen property, and collecting witness statements.

Previous unsolved incidents in the region include a house burglary on Stift-Tepl-Straße in October 2025 and a scooter theft in Gonzenheim last month. While some non-residential thefts, like shoplifting, have led to arrests, these residential cases remain open.

Residents with information are urged to contact the police hotline at 120-0. Officers continue reviewing evidence but have not yet identified suspects in this latest car theft.

The investigation into the Seulberg theft is ongoing, with no arrests made so far. Police have not recovered the stolen change or linked the crime to other unsolved cases. Anyone with details is encouraged to come forward to assist the inquiry.
