Teenager injured after hit-and-run incident in Griesheim intersection

A 17-year-old pedestrian was injured in a traffic incident in Griesheim on Thursday morning. The incident took place at around 09:30 at the intersection of Nordring and Ottostrasse. Both the driver and the pedestrian left the scene without sharing details.

The incident happened when the teenager attempted to cross Nordring. A small car, travelling westbound, struck the child. Though initially unaware of any harm, the 17-year-old later discovered minor injuries.

The child suffered slight injuries in the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. The case remains open as police seek further details from those present at the time.
