Teen Flees in Stolen Car - Teenage Car Thief Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Rüsselsheim
A stolen car chase through Rüsselsheim early Wednesday morning ended with the apprehension of a 14-year-old teenager. The youth, showing signs of drug use and in possession of a knuckle duster, led police on a high-speed pursuit, colliding with at least two other vehicles.
The chase began when the teenager, driving a car stolen the previous week, failed to stop for police. Reaching high speeds, he weaved through traffic, causing at least two collisions before authorities managed to block his path at an on-ramp to the A60, which was closed for construction. The teenager was eventually apprehended at the scene.
The teenager, who exhibited signs of drug use and was found with a knuckle duster, is now in police custody. The incident is under investigation, with authorities likely to consider charges related to vehicle theft, dangerous driving, and drug possession.
