Teen robbed of €450 jacket in Frankfurt by Cobra Kai-linked suspect

A 16-year-old was robbed of a €450 jacket in Frankfurt on January 15, 2026. The attack took place on Maybach Bridge around 6:00 p.m., involving multiple suspects. Police have since identified one of the assailants—a 30-year-old Cobra Kai officer linked to another high-profile case.

The victim had advertised the jacket for sale through a messaging service. When meeting the supposed buyer, the teenager was suddenly attacked. The assailant not only stole the advertised jacket but also tried to take the victim’s personal one.

One suspect has been arrested and partially confessed to the crime. Authorities have requested investigative detention on suspicion of murder in connection with another case—the killing of Johanna G. Investigations into the three remaining accomplices are still underway.

The arrested suspect is a Cobra Kai officer, adding complexity to the case. Police continue to pursue the other individuals involved in the robbery. The victim’s stolen jacket remains a key focus of the ongoing investigation.
