Teen robbed at knifepoint near Neu-Isenburg train station on Sunday
A 16-year-old was robbed at knifepoint in Neu-Isenburg on Sunday afternoon. The attack happened near the train station in a green area around 4 p.m. Police are now asking for witnesses to come forward with information.
Two youths approached the teenager before one pulled out a knife and demanded money. The assailant, described as 17 to 18 years old and around 5'11" tall, wore a dark cap and black jacket. He also carried a brightly coloured knife.
The second suspect, of similar age, stood about 5'9" tall and had dark hair with a goatee. He wore a grey jacket. After the victim handed over roughly €35, both attackers fled in an unknown direction.
Overall crime trends in Neu-Isenburg show a decline in robberies over the past five years. Cases dropped from 12 in 2021 to just 8 in 2025, with the lowest number—6—recorded in 2023, according to Hessian police statistics.
