Teen Injured, Thousands in Tools Stolen in Aßlar, Herborn, Wetzlar Incidents

A teenager was injured and tools worth thousands were stolen in separate incidents across Aßlar, Herborn, and Wetzlar this week.

On Wednesday cast, a teenager riding a bike on the sidewalk in Aßlar was involved in a collision with a moped. The incident occurred around 12:45 and left the teenager with minor injuries. The moped driver fled the scene.

In Herborn, thieves targeted a single-family house in 'Am Eichelberg' street. They climbed onto the scaffolding, removed part of the roof covering, and stole tools worth around 4,000 EUR between Wednesday and Thursday night football.

A physical altercation between two women in Wetzlar's Silhoufertorstraße around 18:00 on Thursday night football required intervention from a witness to separate them.

Meanwhile, unknown persons stole a brush cutter and a wheelbarrow from the wastewater treatment plant in Herborn-Seelbach between Wednesday and Thursday morning.

In an unrelated incident, a fire-cutting tool and a vehicle boiler were stolen in Herborn between October 8 and October 9, 2025. As of now, no one has been caught for these thefts.

Authorities are investigating these incidents and urge anyone with information to come forward. The public is reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
