Teen injured after Doberman attack in Lohfelden's Ochshausen district
A 16-year-old boy was attacked by a loose dog in Lohfelden's Ochshausen district on Sunday afternoon. The incident left the teenager with minor injuries after a Doberman bit his thigh as he tried to escape. Authorities are now searching for the dogs and their owner. The attack happened when the boy encountered two unrestrained dogs—a brown Doberman and a grey pit bull. As he attempted to run away, the Doberman bit his thigh, causing injuries that needed hospital treatment. Neither the owner nor anyone else was present to control the animals at the time.
Both dogs fled the scene in an unknown direction. The teenager and his mother later filed a criminal complaint at the Ost police station. Officers have since opened an investigation into negligent bodily harm.
