Teen Driver's Erratic Journey Causes €25k Damage in Dreieichenhain
A 19-year-old woman, driving a VW Golf, caused significant damage and injury in Dreieichenhain on Sunday morning. The incident, which occurred around 1:00 a.m., is being investigated by the Langen police for endangering road traffic.
The driver's erratic behaviour led witnesses to suspect she was under the influence of drugs or medication. She initially veered off the road, colliding with a bollard, before continuing her journey. During this, she brushed against a house wall, a hedge, and a letterbox, ultimately crashing into a parked Sprinter in the Heckenweg. The impact deployed the airbags and left the driver with a slight forehead injury. Police took a blood sample for analysis.
The driver's identity remains undisclosed, and witnesses are urged to contact the police at 06103 90 300. The incident resulted in approximately 25,000 euros worth of damage.
