A night out turned violent when a group ambushed a young man, wielding a firework as a weapon. Witnesses could hold the key to catching the attackers.

Teen Attackers Use Lit Firework in Unprovoked Fulda Assault

An unprovoked attack in Fulda left a 21-year-old man injured early Saturday morning. The victim was walking with friends when a group of seven to eight individuals assaulted him near the Stadtpfarrkirche church on Unterm Heilig Kreuz street between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM.

The victim was verbally assaulted before being struck with a lit firework to the head during the scuffle. The attacker, described as a 16-17-year-old male with a distinctive birthmark on the right cheek, was one of the suspects. Another suspect, around 17-18 years old with a light mustache, is also being sought. Both suspects were last seen wearing a gray jacket and blue jeans, with the latter also wearing a black hooded jacket.

Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward. They can contact the Osthessen Police Headquarters at +49 661 105-0, any other police station, or submit a report via the online portal at www.polizei.hessen.de. The suspects used the online portal to initiate the proceedings on November 2, 2025.

The 21-year-old victim was injured by an unknown attacker using a lit firework during the altercation. Authorities are seeking two suspects based on witness descriptions. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police.
