Teen arrested in Heusenstamm after police seize banned flick knife and knuckle duster

Police in Heusenstamm confiscated banned weapons late on Saturday after responding to noise complaints. Officers were alerted to loud bangs in Obertshäuser Straße just before midnight. An 18-year-old now faces criminal charges under Germany's weapons law.

The incident began at around 11:45 p.m., when residents reported disturbances near the 10s block of Obertshäuser Straße. Police arrived quickly and conducted a search of the area.

During the operation, officers found a flick knife and a knuckle duster in the suspect's possession. Both items are prohibited under German law. The weapons were immediately seized, and the 18-year-old was taken into custody. Criminal proceedings have since been initiated against the teenager. Authorities have not yet released further details about the case.

No public records exist for similar weapons offences in Frankfurt or the Offenbach district over the past year. Official crime statistics are usually published annually or quarterly, without such specific local breakdowns. The investigation into this case remains ongoing.
