Taxi ride turns violent after passenger smokes cigarette against driver’s rules

The dispute began when the woman, visibly intoxicated with a blood alcohol level exceeding 1.3 per mille, lit a cigarette in the taxi against the driver’s clear instructions. The 60-year-old driver, also a woman, ordered her to extinguish it and later demanded she leave the vehicle when she refused.

The incident has resulted in legal action against both the passenger and the driver. Police reports confirm injuries to the driver and a series of offences by the passenger. The case will now proceed through the appropriate legal channels.
