Stroer X Secures 2000 Jobs, Acquires Amevida Operations
Stroer X, a subsidiary of Stroer, has acquired the operations of Amevida, securing over 2000 jobs across Germany. The takeover, scheduled for Wednesday, was welcomed by both CEOs and is set to strengthen Stroer X's industry presence.
Amevida's crisis, stemming from a challenging market and rising costs, led to its operations being acquired by Stroer X. The deal ensures business continuity, with all customer orders fulfilled during insolvency proceedings. The Amevida team will be integrated into the Stroer X group, providing a solution that satisfies both employees and creditors, according to Uwe Lamnek, CEO of Stroer X. Matthias Eickhoff, former CEO of Amevida, expressed satisfaction with the outcome. Stroer X plans to continue its growth strategy with this takeover, further expanding its dialog marketing services.
The operational handover from Amevida to Stroer X took place on Wednesday, preserving over 2000 jobs and ensuring business operations continued uninterrupted. Both CEOs and the industry at large view this acquisition as a beneficial solution for all parties involved.
