Stroer X Acquires Amevida, Saves 2000 Jobs and Bolsters Market Position
Stroer X, a subsidiary of Stroer, has successfully acquired Amevida's operations, retaining over 2000 jobs and strengthening its market position. The takeover, which took place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, has been praised by both companies' CEOs and is expected to benefit customers, employees, and creditors.
The acquisition comes after Amevida faced difficulties due to a challenging stock market environment and rising costs, leading to insolvency proceedings. Despite the crisis, business operations continued uninterrupted, and all customer orders were fulfilled throughout the process. Stroer X, a leader in dialog marketing, has now integrated Amevida's team into its group, preserving around 2000 of approximately 2400 jobs in Germany. Uwe Lamnek, CEO of Stroer X, believes this solution benefits all parties involved, while Matthias Eickhoff, former CEO of Amevida, expressed satisfaction with the outcome for employees.
Looking ahead, Stroer X plans to continue its growth strategy with this takeover, further strengthening its presence in the stocks market.
