String of burglaries and stolen Jeep rattle towns across the region

A series of burglaries and a vehicle theft have struck several towns in the region over the past two weeks. Police are investigating multiple break-ins, with homes targeted in Nieder-Mörlen, Bad Vilbel, Altenstadt, and Ossenheim. Authorities have also appealed for witnesses after a gray Jeep Wrangler was stolen in Hoch-Weisel.

The first incident occurred in Nieder-Mörlen on Thursday, November 13, when burglars forced open a cellar door on Frankfurter Straße. Between 2:30 PM that day and 6:20 PM on Sunday, November 16, they searched the living areas and stole cash and jewellery.

Investigations into all incidents are ongoing. Police urge residents to secure doors and windows and report any unusual activity. The stolen Jeep remains missing, and authorities continue to seek public assistance in locating it.
