Stolen Food Bank Truck in Hanau Repaired and Back on the Road
The van disappeared during the first weekend of October. It was found the next morning in Offenbach’s Bieber district by a city employee. The vehicle had suffered extensive damage: a broken side window, tampered electrical system, ripped wiring, and damaged locks.
The Citroën Jumper is back on the road after seven weeks out of service. Hanau's food bank can now resume normal operations, ensuring deliveries reach those in need. The incident highlighted strong community cooperation in Hanau and the surrounding area.
