A stolen Audi A4 crashed in Bad Hersfeld on Friday evening, leaving behind a trail of damage. The incident began when two men took the Audi from its owner around 8:30 p.m. Police are now searching for the suspects after they fled the scene on foot.
The theft occurred when a 27-year-old man’s Audi A4 was taken in Bad Hersfeld. The two suspects, described as males of southern appearance, drove toward the city centre along Frankfurter Straße. Both were estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, around 170 cm tall, and dressed in dark clothing.
The stolen Audi remains unrecovered, and the suspects are still at large. Police have urged anyone with information about the two men or the incident to come forward. The investigation into the theft and crash continues.
