Sparkasse Fürth reshapes banking with digital-first updates by 2026

Sparkasse Fürth is changing how it serves customers starting June 1, 2026. The bank is adjusting its branch hours and expanding digital support in response to shifting habits. Despite the updates, in-person advice will still be available at all locations. More customers are now using phone and online services instead of visiting branches. To meet this demand, Sparkasse Fürth is strengthening its digital banking tools and consolidating key topics under one team. The bank’s in-house customer service centre is also becoming more specialised to handle enquiries more efficiently.

The Zirndorf location will see an expanded service centre, adding to the bank’s existing digital options. These include its online branch and mobile app, which customers can use alongside traditional services. Appointments for face-to-face consultations will remain available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Even with the changes, the bank assures that every customer will still have a branch within a 15-minute drive. The adjustments aim to balance convenience with continued access to personal support.

The updates take effect on June 1, 2026, with revised branch hours and a stronger focus on digital services. Customers will still be able to book in-person meetings during extended weekday hours. The bank’s goal is to adapt while keeping local access intact.
