Southeast Hesse Police's Intercultural Evenings Foster Trust and Diversity

Southeast Hesse Police Headquarters has been successfully hosting intercultural evenings as part of its prevention work since 2001. These events, held in collaboration with local government and civil society, have become a strong signal for Hesse's prevention and security framework. Recently, State Secretary Martin Rößler attended one such event in Hanau, highlighting the importance of intercultural dialogue.

The police headquarters, under the leadership of Daniel Muth, has been actively participating in Intercultural Week for over two decades. This year's events in Offenbach and Hanau, which attracted over 100 guests from various sectors, demonstrated the effectiveness of prevention through dialogue and networking. The evenings aim to foster cooperation between the police and civil society, deepen mutual trust, and promote diversity and social cohesion. Martin Rößler, the Interior State Secretary, emphasized the significance of intercultural dialogue for a thriving democracy.
