Skoda Dealers in Germany Embrace Digital Payments with Bezahl.de Platform

The Association of German Skoda Contract Partners (VDS) has recommended its member dealerships adopt the digital payment platform Bezahl.de. The move, announced in December, aims to modernise payment processes across the retailer network. It also marks the association's 35th anniversary year.

Bezahl.de offers dealerships a fully automated system for handling online payments. The platform covers everything from invoicing to accounting, supports real-time mobile transactions, and allows flexible instalment plans. It also integrates smoothly with existing dealer management (DMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The platform can be tailored to each dealership's branding as a white-label solution. Over 2,000 dealerships across Europe already use it, processing more than €10 billion in transactions annually. However, the exact number of Skoda dealers in Germany currently using Bezahl.de remains undisclosed.

VDS Chairman Thomas Peckruhn expects the platform to deliver major efficiency improvements. The association plans to expand its adoption gradually, aiming to simplify daily operations and increase payment transparency. Aufinity Group, the company behind Bezahl.de, sees the partnership as a significant business opportunity.

The collaboration aligns with broader efforts to accelerate digital transformation within Skoda's retail network.

The recommendation comes as part of VDS's push to streamline dealership workflows. By adopting Bezahl.de, Skoda retailers gain access to a system designed to reduce manual processes and improve financial tracking. The platform's existing success in Europe suggests it could become a standard tool for German Skoda dealers in the near future.
