Six to eight attackers rob three minors in Frankfurt’s Riederwald district

A group of six to eight individuals robbed three minors in Frankfurt’s Riederwald district on Sunday evening. The attack happened near the intersection of Karl-Marx-Straße and Lassallestraße at around 6:45 p.m. on January 11, 2026. Police are now searching for a witness who may have seen the incident unfold.

The victims, all underage, were approached by the group before being robbed of a small amount of cash and two winter hats. One of the minors suffered a minor injury while trying to escape. The attackers then fled in an unknown direction.

One suspect was described as a slim male with a mustache, a mole on his cheek, and slightly protruding ears. He wore green 'Under Armour' jogging pants and a 'Carhartt' jacket. Police have not released the name or identity of this individual but are seeking a witness matching a similar description—mature build, mole on the cheek, and wearing green Under Armour running pants with a Carhartt jacket.
