Siemens Healthineers unveils AI tools to slash radiologists’ workload by 25%

Siemens Healthineers is making bold moves to strengthen its market position. The company recently unveiled new AI tools designed to speed up radiologists’ work by as much as 25%. At the same time, its parent company, Siemens AG, is preparing to spin off a significant portion of the business to boost independence and shareholder value.

At the annual RSNA meeting, Siemens Healthineers showcased its latest AI-Enablement Services suite. The tools promise to cut image annotation and diagnostic times by a quarter, helping radiologists work faster. Other features include digital twins for real-time hospital optimization and smart workload balancing to distribute tasks more efficiently.

The spin-off and AI innovations signal a major shift for Siemens Healthineers. Barclays’ upgraded price target suggests strong confidence in the company’s future performance. If successful, these changes could reshape its standing in the medtech industry.
