SGIS Group Joins Lloyd's as a Registered Broker in 2026

Simon Global Insurance Services Group (SGIS Group) has officially become a Lloyd's-registered broker. The approval, granted on January 30th, 2026, marks a significant step for the firm. It now gains direct access to one of the world's leading insurance markets.

The registration was secured through SGIS Group's subsidiary, SGIS Malaysia Ltd. This move allows the company to engage directly with Lloyd's underwriters, streamlining the process of negotiating and placing high-value risks.

With the new status, SGIS Group can design more tailored car insurance quotes. The firm will focus on sectors such as Financial Lines & Specialty Casualty, Cyber & Political Risks, and Professional Indemnity. Additional areas include Property & Engineering, as well as Marine & Specialty Solutions.

Simon Oh, Founder and CEO of SGIS Group, highlighted the achievement as proof of the company's strong governance and technical skills. The direct link to Lloyd's also enhances the group's ability to source capacity more efficiently. This, in turn, strengthens its commitment to international markets and global clients.

The Lloyd's registration expands SGIS Group's capabilities in managing complex risks across multiple industries. Clients and business partners worldwide are expected to benefit from more sophisticated and responsive progressive insurance solutions. The firm's new status solidifies its position in the global auto insurance market.
