Scholzweg in Wiesbaden shuts down after major water main break

A water main break has forced the full closure of Scholzweg in Wiesbaden’s Biebrich district. The affected area is near number 31, with repairs now underway at the repair clinic to fix the damaged pipeline.

The break was reported along a key section of the road, prompting an immediate shutdown. Wiesbaden Wasser, the city’s municipal water utility, is handling the necessary repairs.

While Scholzweg remains closed, residents can still reach their homes via Bernhard-May-Straße. The full roadblock is set to continue until February 5, unless work finishes earlier.

Drivers and pedestrians must avoid the closed stretch of Scholzweg until the repairs are complete. Access for local residents will stay open through the alternative route during this period.
