Sanacorp appoints Manuel Kuhn as new Trade Board Member amid digital push

Sanacorp has announced a leadership change in its executive board. Manuel Kuhn will take over as Board Member for Trade on 1 July, replacing Frank Hennings, who retires after 13 years in the role. The company has praised both the outgoing member's long service and the incoming leader's experience in digital innovation.

Frank Hennings, aged 60, has led Sanacorp's trade division since 2011. His retirement marks the end of a 13-year tenure during which the company expanded its market presence. CEO Patrick Neuss thanked Hennings for his dedication and wished him well in his next chapter.

Manuel Kuhn, currently Director of Supplier & Customer Solutions, will step into the position. He joined Sanacorp in 2010 and has since played a key role in developing digital partnerships and customer-focused strategies. His new responsibilities will include overseeing sales, strategic procurement, product management, and the Mea partnership. The Mea-Partnerschaft, launched in 2020, has grown into a major strategic alliance with over 20 partners by 2025. It focuses on digital tools like the Mea@Home telepharmacy platform and AI-driven stock management. The initiative has streamlined B2B e-commerce and supported projects such as the 2023 Digital Health Hub in Germany, helping the company recover and expand after the pandemic. Neuss expressed confidence in Kuhn's ability to drive future growth. Kuhn has stated his commitment to delivering practical, market-driven solutions for customers. He will work alongside existing board members Antje Saalfeld, who handles Pharmacies & Quality Assurance, and Frank Sczesny, responsible for Technology & Operations.

The transition sees Kuhn take charge of a division central to Sanacorp's digital and commercial strategy. His focus on innovation and customer support will shape the company's next phase. Meanwhile, Hennings leaves after over a decade of leadership in the trade sector.
