Russia probes healthcare firms over suspected procurement collusion in key regions

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has begun unplanned inspections across several regions. The focus is on public healthcare institutions in Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol Krai. Authorities suspect illegal coordination in state procurement deals for medical goods and equipment.

The FAS teams are examining offices and facilities linked to multiple companies. Among those under investigation are Alliance Med LLC, BNK LLC, Medtekhnika Group LLC, and Stomattorg Group LLC. Officials are gathering documents to check for signs of collusion.

The outcome of these inspections could affect how future medical procurement tenders are handled. If violations are confirmed, penalties or legal action may follow. The FAS has not provided further details on the timeline or scope of the investigation.
