Rüsselsheim’s 2025 Statistical Report reveals a young, growing city

The city of Rüsselsheim am Main has published its latest Statistical Report for 2025. The 132-page document covers key figures from the 2024 reporting period, offering a detailed look at the city's demographics, economy, and public services. Compiled by the city administration, it draws on data from the Hessian Statistical State Office and local records.

As of December 31, 2024, Rüsselsheim's official population stands at 65,627 residents. The city remains young, with around 20.3% of inhabitants aged 19 or under. Education plays a significant role, as shown by the 2,374 students enrolled at the Rhine-Main University of Applied Sciences campus for the 2024/2025 winter semester.
