Roadworks on B27 & B279: Next Phase Begins Oct 31
Roadworks on Federal Highways B27 and B279 from Fulda toward Rothemann are proceeding as planned. Motorists can expect changes in the coming weeks as the project management moves into its next phase on October 31.
The upcoming phase will see the reopening of the exit to the A66 toward Neuhof and the entry onto B27/B279 from the A66 coming from Rhönhof. However, brief traffic disruptions may occur during the reconfiguration of traffic control systems. Motorists should expect delays as traffic is diverted from B27 onto the A66 toward Neuhof, then guided back onto the roadway toward Rhönhof at the Neuhof-Nord interchange.
In this phase, Hessen Mobil will resurface the roadway at the exit to the A66 toward Rhönhof and the bridge structure of the Fulda Süd interchange over the A66. The renovation is expected to take approximately two weeks. The project management will then advance to the final phase, covering the southbound carriageway and the area of the A66 on-ramp from Neuhof.
The entire project management is expected to be completed in November, barring any unforeseen delays. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow any diversions or road signs. The responsible company for the construction measures has not been specified in the search results.
