Renewed Partnership Strengthens Youth Mental Health Support in Germany

A long-standing partnership supporting children and adolescents in mental health awareness has been renewed for another term. The agreement between youth welfare offices in Groß-Gerau and Rüsselsheim am Main, alongside the Vitos Child and Adolescent Clinic in Riedstadt, was officially extended on May 28, 2025. This collaboration aims to provide faster, more effective care for young people facing mental health challenges.

The original cooperation began in May 2005 between the Groß-Gerau District Youth Welfare Office and the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Riedstadt. The Rüsselsheim am Main City Youth Welfare Office later joined in 2011. Together, they created a system that simplifies access to support through better coordination, shorter referral times, and guided transitions between services.

The renewed agreements secure continued support for children and adolescents in need. Streamlined access to mental health services and youth welfare remains a priority. The partnerships will adapt to evolving challenges while maintaining high standards of care.
