Raiffeisen Street shuts down for seven weeks of utility line upgrades
Raiffeisen Street in Bierstadt will close completely from Wednesday, January 28. The shutdown affects the intersection with Poststraße and is expected to last until around Friday, March 13. The closure comes as part of planned utility line renewal works in the area.
The full road closure begins on January 28 at the intersection of Raiffeisen Street and Poststraße. Drivers and pedestrians will need to find alternative routes during this period, as the section will remain shut for nearly seven weeks.
Stadtwerke Frankfurt am Main (FW) is overseeing the utility line renewal project. The city of Eschborn confirmed the company’s responsibility for the works, which are scheduled to run until mid-March.
The road will reopen once the utility upgrades are finished, likely by March 13. Until then, local traffic will face disruptions, and residents are advised to plan ahead. Stadtwerke Frankfurt am Main has not announced any further delays at this stage.
