QBE appoints Melody Lyndon-Stanford to lead global client engagement

Global insurer QBE has named Melody Lyndon-Stanford as its new Head of Client Engagement. She will take up the role in June 2026, bringing over 15 years of experience in the insurance sector. Her appointment follows a lengthy career at Aviva, where she most recently managed client innovation and proposition development.

Lyndon-Stanford joins QBE after spending more than 11 years at Aviva. Since 2021, she held client-focused positions, with her latest role as Client Proposition & Innovation Manager. Before Aviva, she worked at RSA, specialising in underwriting for Commercial Crime, Fidelity Guarantee, and Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance.

At QBE, she will lead the company's client engagement strategy across different industries, regions, and customer groups. Her responsibilities will include collaborating with underwriting, claims, and distribution teams, aligning with QBE's integrated approach to client service. Based in London, she will report directly to Matt Lacy, Director of Client Proposition for QBE's European Operations.

Lacy welcomed the appointment, highlighting her expertise in shaping client-focused solutions. Her role will be central to strengthening QBE's relationships with customers and partners.

Lyndon-Stanford's arrival marks a strategic move for QBE as it looks to enhance its client engagement framework. She will officially begin her position in mid-2026, focusing on delivering tailored solutions across the insurer's European operations. The appointment reflects QBE's commitment to deepening client relationships through specialised leadership.
