Police Seek Suspect After Failed Villa Break-in in Hadamar
Police in Hadamar are appealing for information following an attempted break-in at a villa on Ostpreußenstraße. The suspect was captured on security cameras and images have been released. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, between 4:37 p.m. and 4:50 p.m.
The suspect initially tried to force open a patio door and an adjacent window at the rear of the building. When the home’s alarm system was triggered, the suspect fled toward the nearby cemetery. It is believed the suspect then entered an unknown vehicle with an accomplice on the cemetery parking lot and drove off in an unknown direction.
The Criminal Investigation Department of the Limburg-Weilburg Police Directorate is handling the case. Anyone with information about the person shown in the pictures, the unknown vehicle, or the accomplice on the cemetery parking lot is urged to contact the Limburg Police Station at (06431) 9140-0 or any other police station.
