Police probe suspicious encounter with boy, 9, in Neu-Isenburg
Police in Neu-Isenburg are looking into an incident involving a nine-year-old boy in the Zeppelinheim district. The child was approached by an unknown man on Wednesday afternoon while riding his scooter. Authorities have now asked the public for help in gathering more details about what happened.
The incident took place at around 2:55 p.m. near a sports field. The boy later told police that a man in a dark car had made contact with him. He described the stranger as roughly 1.80 metres tall, middle-aged, and with grey hair.
After the man touched his arm, the boy ran to a nearby house for help. His mother then reported the encounter to the local police station that same day. As of January 17, 2026, officers have not released the man’s identity or confirmed whether a crime occurred. They continue to seek witnesses or anyone with information about the dark-coloured vehicle involved.
