Police hunt two suspects after bold daytime home burglary in Wald-Michelbach
A burglary took place at a home on Im Weidenklingen street in Wald-Michelbach on Friday, January 16. Police are searching for two unknown men seen near the property and have asked the public for help in identifying them. Witnesses reported suspicious behaviour around the time of the break-in.
The incident happened when two men forced entry through a patio door. They searched the house, though it remains unclear whether any items were taken. Descriptions of the suspects have been released to aid the investigation.
One man stood taller than 1.80 metres, with a black full beard and dark clothing. He wore a bomber jacket and a dark beanie. The second suspect was shorter, with black, wavy hair and black headphones. Both wore all-black outfits. Authorities are also looking into a dark-coloured Opel or Volkswagen estate car seen in the area a day earlier. The vehicle had a yellow licence plate and carried three men inside. Anyone with details about the car or the individuals is asked to come forward. A witness noticed the two men acting suspiciously near the house at the time of the crime. So far, no arrests have been made, and the perpetrators remain unidentified.
The K21/22 criminal investigation unit in Heppenheim is leading the case. They have urged anyone with information to call 49 6252 706-0. The investigation continues as police gather evidence and follow leads.
