Police Hunt BMW X6 Burglars After String of Thefts
Police in Bad Soden are on the hunt for burglars who made off with jewelry and cash after breaking into a home on Friday evening, 10.10.2025. The suspects fled a police checkpoint in a BMW X6, which had a stolen license plate from Hofheim.
Earlier in the day, the BMW X6 was spotted in the 'Am Waldfeld' street with two occupants and several bags, raising suspicion. As police gave chase, the vehicle collided with a tree but continued fleeing, also brushing a passing bus in Schmitten. Meanwhile, in Kriftel, thieves targeted copper cable, cutting and taking several meters between Tuesday, 15:00 and Monday, 10:00.
In Hofheim-Diedenbergen, two unknown men were seen unlawfully entering a garden in Nußbaumstraße on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 23:25. Described as around 1.80 to 1.85 meters tall, about 35 years old, muscular, and dressed in dark clothing, with one wearing a black cap, they fled after being seen by a resident. Similar descriptions were given for two unknown persons found on a property in the same area on Monday evening at 23:25, who also fled when spotted. In Hattersheim, burglars targeted cash, forcing open office doors, cabinets, and a safe between Friday, 15:00 and Monday, 07:25.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about these incidents to come forward. The suspects are still at large, and police are treating these cases as connected. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
